About Me

Hi, I’m Crystal, and I am a Certified Wellness Coach and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I help people who value health and wellness identify and tackle the barriers that have prevented them from reaching their goals. I take a functional approach to wellness coaching by incorporating the concepts of nutrition, exercise, exploring the food/mood relationship, and strengthening the awareness of mind/body connection.

My journey began in the powerlifting community and transitioned into bodybuilding and everything fitness. Along the way I discovered I also have Hashimoto’s, a thyroid autoimmune that is triggered by food intolerances and unmanaged stress. Finding out about Hashimoto’s propelled me on the path of incorporating health and fitness with an applied functional approach. I learned the hard way that you can be following your diet and training plan to a “T” but if other areas of your life are not in balance, and your stress levels are high, then progressing in your fitness goals comes to a halt.

Throughout my journey it became apparent there was a huge gap in the health and fitness realm. Although I had a fitness coach, a great support system, and skills learned in my counseling training, I still felt like there was something missing that was keeping me from achieving the goals I had set. I came to find the missing piece was a lack of focus on the emotional and mental aspects of fitness.

It’s become my mission to bridge this gap and help people create balance in their life by integrating the aspects of wellness to meet their fitness, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.
